IMAGINE. CREATE. INSPIRE.
euro a go go, in collaboration with PAVE Global, The Bicester Collection, and JPMA Global Inc., announces the launch of the go go NEXT Emerging Retail Design Challenge, an industry-sponsored competition inviting emerging designers to explore the future of retail fixture design.
go go NEXT challenges students to think like professional fixture designers, responding to a real-world industry brief to create a modular retail fixture system for an original lifestyle fashion brand. The system must adapt between a 250-square-foot shop-in-shop and temporary pop-up environment while balancing creativity with the practical realities of retail design and production.
Participants will develop an original brand in apparel, bags, shoes, or accessories and create a coordinated fixture system that considers brand expression, merchandising, customer experience, adaptability, sustainability, and manufacturability.
We wanted to create a challenge that gives emerging designers a genuine opportunity to think like the professionals who design the retail environments and fixtures that bring brands to life. go go NEXT is about connecting creative thinking with the realities of retail; how products are presented, how customers interact with a space, and how a great idea can ultimately be made, shipped, assembled and adapted.
Submissions will be evaluated by a jury of retail brands, fixture manufacturers, experiential designers, and industry leaders, giving participants the opportunity to put their ideas in front of professionals across the retail design industry.
The go go NEXT Emerging Retail Design Award will recognize the winning concept with a cash award, industry exposure, travel support, an invitation to the euro a go go NYC celebration, and formal recognition at the PAVE Global Gala.
